SINGAPORE: The stage is set for Nomination Day, when Singapore residents will find out who is standing in their constituency and what the hot seats will be this General Election.

Aspiring candidates must submit their nomination papers at one of nine schools assigned for the purpose before noon on Tuesday (Jun 30). The papers must be signed by the prospective candidate – or a group of candidates for a Group Representation Constituency (GRC) – together with a proposer, a seconder and at least four assentors.

WONG FONG INDUSTRIES LAUNCHES IPO ON CATALIST BOARD – 19 JULY 2016

Wong Fong Industries will issue 43 million new shares priced at 23 cents apiece, to raise a total of S$8 million in net proceeds.
